General Cat Convertor Required

Hi all,

I need a new cat and pipe for my 2001 Y reg 20v Weekender and the dealers are quoting me seriously strong poundage (£650+). Does anyone have any idea where I'd be able to get one ?

Try www.buypartsby.com they're approx £74+VAT. 2yr warranty or you can go for a 3yr warranty one for more money. However it doesn't look like that piece in the above pic.

Thanks Joske, I seem to be having this problem all over. Every site I go to has that picture and nothing has what I've got !

Is that a manifold cat by any chance, by that i mean is it located at the front of the car and not in the middle.

Just done some research....

You have the 2.0 20V CF3 version, basically more cleaner version of the 2.0's. The older 2.0 20V CF2 has the cat you keep seeing on all websites.

Your best bet is to ring up the companies, like www.buypartsby.com and ask them if they can price you up a CF3 CAT for your car, the CAT is attached to the manifold and is not located under the car like the other version.

try unipart, by the sounds of things you having the same problem as i had with an alfa 156 everyone showed the cat that i didnt need i could only get it at alfa or unipart unipart was half the prive though. if you go to the website there is a branch locator so you can find one near you.
