Anybody had there car wrapped before? if you have how much does it cost normally?:chin:

Can you tell me what you had in mind?Would you be willing to do the wrapping yourself?Asking since I am in the printing business.

been having a peruse of the internetz, looks like plasti dip is the way forward for me, can be d.i.y and only costs a few hundred for paint and equipment.

maybe something for you to look into if you are in the trade as it's not that big in england yet ( i don't think) :chin:

You'd be looking north of £1k for a car the size of a bravo. All depends on the company and film quality. Alot of money, I'd rather have suspension, LSD and other performance goodie for that money!

all the other goodies are going on slowly (y)

ou can do the wrap urself mate, materials will set you back at around £300-£400 if you buy the 3M stuff, and much better better quality and easier to get a good result than dip.

the trouble with doing a wrap myself is if i did it wrong then that's it, no second chance. dip can just start over, i could be wrong but wrapping looks difficult

The 3M stuff is very forgivable, there are tons of video on youtube, from my own experience, dipping is hard to get a good result as it just like paint, you need to spray it evenly and the paint "run" if you not careful.

here is mine.
