The fact the I orded to small wasn't much help either lol but I will keep using my fiat as a little project car till I get my new one, but I'm going to re do the bonnet at some point when I have spear money, as to be honest it's quite enjoyable but I'll definitely get help next time, and your corsa looks really nice pal

Cheers mate it did until it was wrote off last year  but ur stilo will look pretty cool once its finnished hoping to crack on my stilo in the summer as want to do the bonnet like your last pic but sticker bomb the outer edge and black roof

Did wrap my bonnet yesterday to test the waters. Had a roll of white lying around. Got half way across and ripped the dam thing. Wanted to see how feasible doing the entire car was. Once you get the knack I guess it's alright, pretty happy with the finish. Ripped it straight back off however until I decide whether to do it. Could only do it if it was perfect however, ocd moment. Good stuff though, lol. But here's the half that didnt rip!

LOOKS PRETTY SMART(y) did you find it hard to bend it around the headlights area? any tips?

No bending mate, Just got 1 sheet large enough to cover the bonnet, wrapped it from the centre out so I didn't end up with wrinkles, (well i did it in halfs,) Straight over the headlight edge, then cut it with about 1/2cm spare and wrapped it under the bonnet.

Only tip I can say, which i've seen around google is to use just the right amount of heat, too much and it kind of distorts or goes too "thin".
Heats the key though, solves most of your issues lol

Might try the front next, see how it is to do angles etc, if all goes well might go white or black.

I'm going to try and re wrap my car again but going to go for mat black instead this time, take the current sh** off and re do it till I get the hang of it, I got told to put a little bit of soapy water on the part your about to wrap eg bonnet and it makes it easier to move a round and when it's dry it makes it stick 10x better so my work colleague told me, but I'm yet to test this not I will be testing this not this week but next after pay day, so I can see how it works and I ripped mine too while wrapping I was F ing fuming so I just slapped it on after that as I was Pi**ed off as I spend like 20 minutes getting it flat then I ripped abit and was like what the hell and just slapped it on lol

I think for serious wrap jobs, they recommend also using the proper squeegee tool thing and a hairdryer.

Gonna give my roof a shot when the vinyl arrives. Should be cool!

You can get the 3M squeegees off eBay for a quid
Used it to do mine with a heat gun as they've got a little more 'oompfh' as a hair dryer lol

Yeah - just had one of those posted to me! :D

AHa, I've got a little pink hairdryer which has one setting "holy god why my hair" so I think that'll do and I'll just vary the distance! Do have a heatgun kicking about somewhere, but it's probably buried somewhere in amongst the junk and cars in the garage.
