Have just spent a good hour and a half giving the TA Lounge a good valeting. Find it quite relaxing but now there is a downside, I have just fitted the chrome rear number plate surround and changed the wheel centre caps for the red rimmed ones (replaces the chrome). My wife has just found out and has reduced my pocket money to the value of a daily paper.!!!

You know when i see the word valeting i always think of valet parking.
I know valet parking is not so common in the UK but in countries like USA, Greece and Turkey they will definitely not call car wash valeting they will think you mean you want me to valet your car (as in park it for you?)

Looks like I'll have fun in the USA later in the year with the language confusion. Like the time in the USA I was going to give a lady friend an early morning call and said I would call round and knock her up. Shock Horror from others in the room!!
