Technical Car shakes when going over 50mph

Hi all,
My 150T has developed an issue when it shakes anytime it goes over 50mph. It is a really violent shaking inside the car and everybit of plastic shakes quite violently, trust me this isnt just a vibration.

I had the tracking done and it's still the same. I'm a bit worried, anyone had the same issue???

Wheels balanced? Torqued up correctly? Tracking makes sure they're pointing straight

i recenlty had violent shaking when going over 70kmh and then again over 120
it was due to old and unbalanced tires, probably not straight alu wheels too, i put on new alu wheels and tires and shaking stopped completely, doesnt necessarily mean wheels are to blame in your case, could also be engine or gearbox mounts

I had a shaking similar, had tracking checked, wheels balanced. Tyres replaced encase of warping as they were old and low on tread. Maybe a buckled wheels?

Ours turned out to be the driveshaft. Drivers side, seems quite common on 150Tjets, check for grease around the rubber cv boots either side.

Our always had a little shake under hard acceleration when we got it. I also replaced the antiroll bar as I noticed the rubbers were perished. This seemed to be a known recall on earlier 2007 models but not our 2010. Plus you cant just buy the rubbers and I couldn't find any after market suppliers. But now we have a bravo smoother than it ever was

If it's out of balance when accelerating and you've tried wheels, tyres etc then I'd say it's your driveshafts, seen this on 1.6 stilos, it's usually just the pot joint and the three bearing unit that slides onto the splines on inner end of driveshaft. I think it's the case hardening that fails and allows slight wear within the pot joint.

Fiat only sell the parts as a kit for the driveshaft, but after I had fitted mine I found this seller from Poland on eBay selling the parts separately and slightly cheaper then fiat. I used the high temp grease as suggested the driveshaft chat.

That's both sides. The spider bearing was about 35 on its own, I personally think if your paying someone to repair the driveshaft I pay the extra 70 and get it all done for piece of mind.
