Car judders when setting off in first gear.

Hi I have got my car booked in for a new clutch fitted this week but it has now developed another problem.
As planned my partner fitted the new exhaust but ever since it was done the car judders when setting off in first gear.
I plan to replace any part the car needs but don't want to get ripped off by replacing parts I don't need to.
The clutch is being replaced as the peddle is very hard and first and second gear are a real pain to get into. I also plan to get the gear box oil changed.
Could the clutch also be causing the judder or could it be the new exhaust for some reason. The garage said it could be the clutch and when the exhaust was changed the car got more power back witch could be why it didn't do it before.

it could be numerous things. My car juddered when setting off in first sometimes, also in reverse. Thought it could of been my gearbox mounts. but they seemed ok. Worth checking.
I had a new gearbox and clutch fitted and the problem has gone. So it does sound like your clutch is causing the problem.
It is well worth changing your gearbox oil, doesn't cost alot (y)

this is a classic punto problem. . . . . almost every punto does it at one time in its life.

Its related to the clutch/flywheel maybe warped (they will check when the clutch is changed)

My car does it when first pulling away when the car is cold, ive learnt to give it more revs and it pulls away normally then.
