There have been several posts on this topic the latest in 2013 with no solution, which is crazy because Economy Mode renders my Scudo radio unfit for purpose. I have raised this with the Midlands Main Agent who sold the van to me new, and have not yet received a reply. Local Main Agents are convinced there is a menu option on the dashboard (in fact three have been suggested), but there isn't.
A chap called Stewart Kingswood gave a solution on this forum in 2008 which required a diode in the ignition cable to the radio, and a cross connection to the power cable, but he said you can't use it on later models. That was for the Ducato/Boxer models of that era, not Scudo.
This is a major problem for Scudo campervan and taxi drivers and I would appreciate any comments, especially regarding the Kingswood option. Why can't I use that option? Obviously I don't want to mess things up.
