Technical Can I get a satnav installed..?

Hi all, new to this

I have 2017 500s all standard. My radio doesn’t have satnav. Can I upgrade to a radio unit that has satnav included..? My dealer says no..!

Even if you could, the cost would likely be horrendous.

You'd get far better value fitting an aftermarket unit.

Have you not got the TomTom socket on the top of the dashboard? Mine's a 2015 built in 2013 and it's got one. Then you can buy the official Fiat TomTom and have it nicely integrated. It's not cheap though.

No. No socket. I’ve been trying to locate an online site to find a decent aftermarket installer. End up finding USA sites!

My Nissan Juke came with a basic double din unit and I looked into swapping it for the factory sat nav unit. I read that you would also need the GPS antenna and it may not work. I bought an after market one. If the only thing against it is cost, you could get what you need from a write off salvage car. I’ve seen plenty of them for sale on the bay of E.
