CALLING ALL MODIFICATION EXPERTS!!!!!!!!

Ok guys, gimme your best shot.....
I have just been hooked and are desperate to buy the new SONY CDX-M1000TF STERO FOR MY BRAVO.
Only problem is that the facia drops too low and cannot be fitted into a bravo with the standard fixing bracket that all consumers fit with a normal stero.

check the radio out its **** hot to say the least!

Anyway I WONT SETTLE FOR NO! and need any advice from anyone on how to get this in my car???
has / or can anyone create a different fixing plate??
Please help me..........

Sony IMHO generaly make shite car audio. All this Xplop Bass boost 1000wPEEK! fancy plipy panels etc. Ok it looks "cool" but sounds **** compared to the competition!

Get a nice Alpine/Carlton/JVC or something.

Totally agree!
Sony headunits tend to clip the audio signals and when you've got high quality speakers it's really noticable!

Make a custom facia panel out of fiberglass which sticks out of the dash and glue it in. no problem! Bit sof imagination, sanding and filling and you'd be there!

You could build it under the airvents on top of the dash like mine and motorize it (see source car for sale on this forum) a lot of hard work and head scratching but it looks well smart. Use your imagination it will fit anywhere with abit of work !
