General Cabling aerial antenna

Does anybody know which way does the cable for the roof aerial go on a Fiat Marea 1.6? I know that you need to remove the front courtesy light in order to access the underside of the aerial, and I suspect that from there the cable goes down to the passenger's pillar and behind the dashboard. I'm asking because I'm thinking of getting rid of the stock radio and installing a DAB one, with a new antenna as well. Any suggestions on how to run the cables are most welcome!

yes as you can see (just) on the 3rd photo down, the ariel cable passes down the right hand side windscreen strut under the plastic cowling and behind the dash.
