C5 3.0 Tdi

I think i want to buy a bigger car for going camping in etc.
Been looking at these today.
Wouldnt buy brand new. Would buy in 6 month when they lost a bit of money.
Seem very well put together.
Looked at a 2.7 v6 hdi one today but if i got one would be the 3.0.
Any one had experience of latest shape C5's?

ironically if you buy a copy of todays daily star they review the c5 3.0 in its motors section.

I have a copy, according to the review the the 3.0 is better than the 2.7 is its more efficient and smoother, however citroen have made some bold claims with the performace of this vehicle and it doesnt match up to what has been claimed on test.

The ergonomics and storage space arent particularly great either even on top of the range models

However overall they like it and its a given a good review, but they say if Citroen had bothered to spend another 5 minutes on it, they wouldve made an excellent car, instead theyve only made a really good car

Get down to local shop quick and read review yourself!

I wish i saw this yesterday
Review on autocar website though.
Been out in countless jag's at work with the 3.0 engine. So smooth yet pulls hard to redline in every gear. Not normal diesel tail off.
I imagine C5 lighter than XF so 'should' be a bit nippier than Jag after its got off line.
Won't handle as well though but can't justify all extra costs of an XF
