Buzzing rear wipe & steering collum

Hi, had problem with the rear wiper,lights on back door of my dobbie,lots of buzzing & flashing side lights staying on when off. My bro in-law bit of a car fiddler found a broken cable in wiring harness that goes from main body to tail gate
