Technical Button under passenger seat?

There's some sort of button under the passenger seat on our Weekender. Mounted vertically, with a rubber cover on the top.

What the heck is it for? Anyone know? I would just give it a good long shove and see what happens, but I'm scared that it will do something awful to the immobiliser or something, requiring big birthday presents for every Fiat dealer in the vicinity.

sounds like the fuel cut off re-set button, if you have a crash fuel cuts out for saftey, you would press the button to get it going again
