Whilst flying around the mountains here in Montenegro my partner complained of an aching lower back after a run.....no worries said I and went to turn on the never used seat heater...
I depressed the button ...it turned on and the button then disappeared into the centre console
It's now on all the time...bugger

A quick solution is to remove the fuse for just that seat. There’s a separate little fuse box in the boot (!) that holds the front seat heater fuses. The panel in the dash all just clips into place but the clips are tricky to prise apart…

Also, sadly, unlike the seat heaters in most cars, in the Panda it only heats the base of the seat, not the backrest… so you get a hot bum but not a warm back

At least it happened in February not July :)
As above, my first thought would be pull the fuse
If you don't have your handbook to check which fuse it's available to download on this forum
Or if it's easier follow the wires from the seat, see if you can find a connector to unplug, maybe under the handbrake housing?
Or if it's desperate even cut one of the wires to repair later or add a new switch

Ah ha - while there is a fuse box in the boot (not mentioned in the hanbook) there’s also one in the main box by the battery. See here

There are also two relays, which are in a tiny fuse box in the boot - probably hiding behind the trim and boot light though and so likely, harder to access than the switch! Personally I’d just disconnect the plug under the seat (but make sure it’s not the one used by the seat belt and airbag system — they are always coloured yellow or have yellow sleeves on the wires to help identify them
