Gotta say a massive get tae hell to the morons at First Bus in Aberdeen. Love the school of driving their from!

Friday night I was sat behind a bus on King Street, waiting to turn right towards the beach. Bus pulls forward, I pull forward. Number 23 comes haring down the road takes a swing out to get round the corner, and scuffs my car. For some bizzare reason (ie the fact it was a very light if at all contact) there's no damage - just the sound of the bus hit my mirror. I toot my horn to get the drivers attention, he growls at me and gives me the finger and shrugs his shoulders! :?

I know they need a wide berth, but surely they have to give way to traffic thats allready there?! I cant just dissapear into thin air can I?!

****ing busses..ban the ****ing lot of em!

Complain, and take pictures of the scratches on the rear quarter of your can and say that the bus did it. They have so many claims a year that they will just pay out and you will get the back end out your car looking right for once!!

Im gonna write a letter or email or something anyway, but I didnt get the reg I just know it was the number 23 one of the branded ones thats about it :S

Plus the guy looked like a ****ing gonk. Dodgy mullet/tache thing going on - but judging by the states of some of the folk they employ that could be anyone!

I've dealt with heaps of complaints against bus drivers and they always pay out for the insurance!

You don't need to know the reg just which bus number it was, where abouts it was and what time it happened!!

But I'd get a phone call in first thing on Monday as an initial complaint just to get things started

the number is 01224 650000! (sorry I've used it that much I remember it off the top of my head now) [/i]

See, I broke down once ON the bridge of dee roundabout. At rush hour - and got a mouthfull from some **** in a bus who was promptly told I'd ****ing shut him up if he didnt shut up himself! I wrote a complaint about the guys attitude explained when a car packs in theres **** all one guy can do and got a 'hand written' letter from George 'Adolf' Mair. I also got a weeks free bus travel....I promptly wrote back and told them to stick it where the sun dont shine, and have seldom used their bus services since.

Still, I'll be in touch with them tomorrow. The email team are fairly prompt!

Make sure you take pictures of that panels...... just for insurance reasons

and send them with the e-mail.

you should get them repaired for free then!

aberdeen bus drivers are the worst. grumpy ****ers that think because they are a but they can pull out infront of cars. i never let them out, but they dont look when they are pulling out so the majority of the time u have to swerve so they miss you
