General Build Date

I have chased Fiat about your car and I am being told that the build date on your car will probably change. When I queried Fiat on this as I said they told me this would change probably within the next few weeks.​

I'm proabably just being paranoid but would anyone know if there is another reason why my dealer may not be giving me any more information? I ordered on 11th March and have had to chase for an update quite a bit, got that email back from the dealer after 3 attempts and 2 weeks trying when making sure that the order had gone through after hearing almost nothing for 5 weeks.​

Any reassurance would be appreciated although I know many people on here have had far worse problems!​

I think youll just have to join the ever growing amount of people waiting for their 500.... Im in the same boat but ordered early February

I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago, not heard anything for the dealer as yet. I am going to contact them this week to see if they have further info on a build date for me.

As nuovopanda said above, i think we are all playing a waiting game. Would be interested to know on average the time it takes for a fiat to get back to a dealership with a build date once a car has been ordered.

Like you, I'm waiting for my 500 Sport to arrive; I ordered it on 2nd February and I was quoted 12 weeks.

The last time I had contact from the sales guy was on 19th March saying status is at 20. Also added all was looking good, and will be here in 6 - 8 weeks. Next week I will have waited 6 weeks, so I am hopeful it will arrive sometime!

It is a 1.2 petrol so the recent HG saga won't have delayed things but I did order a number of extras which some were in short supply until recently such as alloy wheels (420) and electric glass sunroof (400)

So all we can do is relax, and chat more about our forthcoming 500's until the big day!

Would be interested to know on average the time it takes for a fiat to get back to a dealership with a build date once a car has been ordered.

i knew mine in a week, & i saw it myself on the computer screen at the dealership

I'll oder mine soon but i managed to be in 3 different dealers, two in London and one in Turin (Italy) and both the italian dealer and the one in Marylebone quoted me about 5 to 6 months for delivery, the other dealer quoted me 12 weeks i do not really know how could work this one out!!

12-16 weeks is the time at the moment.
