iv used the silverline one before and was impressed with it

its not the cost of the machine its the cost of the backing plates and pads and polishes i would be more bothered about

i recently purchased a silverline silverstorm rotary from ebay £50 came with 3 different polishing sponges on backing plates and a wool bonnet and velcro backing plate

i would recommed one to anyone thats starting out and for £50 you will be chuffed to bits with it

What grades are the supplied pads?


I sure as hell wouldn't be using a wool pad on a modern car paint finish... Unless it was a last ditch option.

Monza sell some pretty good foam pads, 2 for £10, which considering your wont even get 1 Megs for that price, its good value for money. Used them on a few cars now and I cant fault them.

Dont really like the megs pads on the rotary Much prefer the 3m pads
