My 1998 1.7D fiorino breaks fanbelts very 6000 miles or so, why is this? :confused:
 
I'm sorry, but the Fiorino has no fanbelt... ( it's electrical driven!)
Perhaps you mean the alternator/waterpump belt?
Maybe the alternator is not in line with the other pulley's?
Happened to my Pick-Up as well, after I mounted a reconditioned alternator, took me a lot of time to correct it, with all kinds of shim's.
