I have a Bravo TD100 with this problem has already two years. Some times, when I bind to the car it goes below. To the times, to the end of three or four attempts it only is that it pulls out. Other times, when it binds, the rotations even go up close to the 2000 rpm. What It will be?

Your English is better than my Portuguese but I am not able to understand your problem. Can you write it in Portuguese and I will try and understand it from that.

Em Portugues

Desde há 2 anos que tenho o seguinte problema:
Algumas (muitas) vezes, quando ponho o carro a trabalhar, ele vai-se abaixo e só ao fim de 2 ou três (às vezes mais) vezes é que ele pega. Outras vezes, liga logo, mas fica com o ralenti instável, para cima e para baixo. Para além disto, quando acelero a fundo, sai uma nuvem de fumo.
Na Fiat disseram que devia ser a sonda de temperatura da Bomba Injectora. Será?
Espero que tenha entendido. Obrigado pela ajuda que possam dar.

OK - I think your problem is
1. For the past two years you car sometimes starts OK - but sometimes it takes two or three attempts before it starts.

2. If you have a starting problem it idles erratically up and down. If you then accelerate hard it leaves a large cloud of smoke behind.

3. Not sure what Fiat said - I couldn't work that out apart from something to do with the injectors.

Good, we are getting there.

Now we know what the problem is, anyone want to have a crack at the cause? I dont know anything about the deisel engine and its problems.

It sounds like it might just be choked up. I'd give one of the proprietry 'cleaners' a go, such as Redex diesel. It's worth a go, and won't cost a lot.
 
engine flush

Redex is fine for maintaining performance, but with a problem like this (if it is choked) you'd be better off with engine flush. This will clear your fuel system (a bit like drain cleaner).
 
TD100 Problems

This could be similar to the starting problem I had. air in the fuel system causes starting problems, cranking the engine purges the air but you still get erratic idling. Not sure about the white smoke though
 
td 100 problems

sounds like head gasket or taking in air through inlets somewhere?
