Bravo steering problem

Hello everyone
Yesterday I had an accident with my Fiat Bravo (1.2, 16V, 1999.)
I was hit a curb with front left wheel because I landed from the road, where I broke the wheels and some other parts (fork, kinetic joint, Y bearing that goes in the gearbox), these are the people's expressions in my homeland, Bosnia :). All the parts are replaced but now I have problems with steering.
In fact it is quite heavy and steering wheel do not return to its original position.

I visited a lot of mechanics, but no one does not know where it might be a problem.
My brother's car (hyundai accent) has a screw which regulates the difficulty of steering.
I am interested in whether something similar exists in Fiat?

Does anyone had a similar problem or might know about how to solve this one?

There ain't a screw for that. Did you do tracking alignment of the wheels on the car ? Is the resistance of the steering wheel the same when you turn left and right ?

Yes I do.

The resistance is higher when I turn to the left then to the right, but for both sides is more difficult than before the accident.
I can not understand why the wheel would not return to its original position after turning in any direction, as before.

Is it possible that now I have a problem with the steering rod?

Gone with a right bang by the sound of it. Could have damaged other parts not spotted. Have you checked that the wheel spins free? disc pads? even the caliper

Hi,

I have not done these checks yet, but I do not see sense of verification. I do not understand how spins wheels impact on steering if I moves at a speed of 60 kmph?

I'll check this as soon as possible and tell you.

Thanks

If the wheel does not spin freely then it will pull the car to that side when moving

Today I will check it and give you an answer.

Just to say that when I adjust the steering wheel right and drive on the straight road, the car does not deviating neither left nor right, but goes straight, which looks fine to me.

Thanks.

Might seem a bit obvious but is the power steering pump ok and filled with fluid? Quite unrelated to the breakages but could be a coincidence

I checked it immediately after the accident and pump was ok, as the liquid.
I would have to check again to verify that it is really ok now, but I think it is.

Thank for advice.
