Over the past few weeks my Bravo has started to judder when I begin to set off, it didn't bother me too much until today when I turned my engine on and it just cut out and lost all revs.

I re-started it and the same thing happenend again even when I put more revs on! I had to virtually have my foot to the floor on the gas so that it didn't cut out! Then for no reason it's driving ok again, the car was warm and was not cold.

Does anyone have any idea's what the problem would be? Help would be greatful, thanks.

i have the same problem on my 1.6 it hasnt done it for ages then all of a sudden it does it agan (especially when queing in traffic)
im leaning toward the idle control valve but with out taking it apart (which i havent time to do)it'l have to wait!
Best thing to do is get a diognostic done either at fiat or mobile what ever and they may be able to help!!
what engine is it,year,milage etc?

Hi, mine used to do this. I had aignostics test on it. Seemed to be a faulty sensor and a fault on the memory. I have only had the fault removed(sensor to be done when i have the time to take it back in) but had no probs since.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies guys!

It is a 1.4 model 1998, and has done around 59,000 miles.

It hasn't done it for a few days now, I guess it's just one of those things.

I'm thinking of joining Boo to attend some meets, where you guys from? And do you no when the next meet near to Scunthorpe is?

hat eto be the bearer of bad news but i had the exact same problem , the reason is a dodgy throttle body Fiat charge 500euro for a new one, i got one in a scrappy for 59 euro, Fiat garage diagnosed it is def the throttle body,

mine was the idle controll valve along with dirty injectors why dont you try asking tom he will be able to give you a list of wat to try first :)

Hey-bit late, but nvm!
I had something like this happen to my 1. bravo a few weeks ago, and after having a diagnostic done at local garage, it was apparently the injector :s Maybe im getting my and your symptoms mixed up, but it didnt cost a lot to fix which was the good news! :)
