Hi All

can anyone help...my 1999 mk2 Bravo HGT has a 'hunting idle/tickover with injection warning light!...used various injector cleaners with octane boosters to no effect, car normally drives ok and accelerates as it should but has the odd tickover and can feel a bit flat when pulling off!

Thanks in advance!

Any signs of it trying to cut out at all ?? Especially when pulling up at a junction etc..

Mine had your symptoms plus the cutting out...turned out to be the lambda sensor.

Try unplugging the idle control valve power.

As u look at the engine from the front it's at the top right corner of the engine....

hold on... i'll find a piccy :)

its most likely the lambda sensor mate, i had exactly the same issue

loss of power
hunting
and almost, and occasionally stalling a junctions

the easy way to find out is just to go and get the car ecu read
