General Bravo colour choice

Me, I think.
Well, it's silver.

Reason I ask is because I suspect Fiat do not offer the full choice of colours that appears on their website. This happened to me a few years ago when I happily walked in to a dealer and asked for a white Stilo, to be told they only offered it in 3 metallic colours and only 2 of those could be delivered within a month.

Digital grey is a metallic surely you have to pay extra for it- if you go to the Bravo configurator you pay £400 more. I have it and it is the silver one shown in pictures, same as mine.

That's strange. On my computer it looks solid, like the white. Maybe the screen image is giving a false impression. Is it only metallics that incur a supplement?

The colours are slightly lighter for a number of these cars like a strong sun is shining on them- on the computer, they do look darker in real life.

I flat paints do not incur a supplement, but metallics and pearlescents (if there are any on the Bravo) do.

All this means is that it is impossible to choose a colour from the Fiat website, as they bear no relation to the real thing. You can't tell which ones are solid and which metallic/pearlescent. Perhaps the brochure samples are more accurate?

Were you planning on actually ordering from the website anyway?

Surely you'd go have a look at the car in real life and get to see what the colours actually look like?

Dealers never have the full colour range on display. In my view the Bravo colours are extremely dim. If they actually looked like they do on the computer I would be perfectly happy. Why don't they do more solids? In all probability I will be told that red is the only solid they can offer. I have never seen a white Bravo, nor did I ever see a white Stilo, even though it was a listed colour.

Just so you know, there ARE white Bravos out there! I even played with a Sport the other night which was white on the way home from work.

A few members on here have white ones as well.

Regarding white, my experience in late 2006 when buying a Stilo may be relevant even now. My dealer in Belfast said I could have any one of three metallic colours at short notice but I would have to wait two months for a white one. If this was the general situation across the UK it could explain why so few white cars are seen on UK roads.

You don't buy a car every day, why not wait a bit and get exactly the car you dreamed about?

As you can guess there weren't any white Bravo Sports with Skydome available in the shop, so I had to order :) Now there aren't any other white Bravo Sports with skydome on the streets, so well worth the wait :D
