Bravo 2002 Red Key

Im considering buying a 51 reg (2002) 1.2 fiat bravo, but when i rung the garage enquiring about the car they said there is no red key because they stopped doing them after 2001. Is this correct people?

If the key has a halo on a triangle with a 2 under it on the shank then no, if it has the same without a 2 then it needs a red key. I have nver seen a Bravo/a that didn't need one.

So more then likely hes lying and it does need a red key?
