I have a bravo 1.4sx 98(s) and im having some problems with it. When I get in the car in the morning to drive and turn the igintion the car will always start up, although sometimes it will fire up staight away and other times it may take a few seconds.
The problem is sometimes when I go on relitively short journeys and I turn off the iginition and leave the car for a short period of time and then try to turn the igntion on it won't fire up and the only way to get the car going is to jump the car off.
Also for the first time today after i'd been on a journey and restarted the ingnition it took a while to fire up and I had a feeling if I stopped and started again it wouldn't start up so I headed home only to reach a set of busy traffic lights and when I came to a stop the engine just cut out on me and would not restart which was quite embarissing. Again the only way to get the car going was to jump the car off.
The car has had a service and a cambelt change last month.
Could anyone please help me diagnose this problem, as I don't know much about cars.
Thanks In Advance
