Bravo 1.4 trouble starting from cold

Just recently my bravo 1.4sx is having great dificulty starting from cold. once it is warm it starts fine. my gut instinct is that its the choke, i have recently changed the plugs leads and air filter but not having a haynes manual i am stuck as what to look for, anyone care to guide me in the right direction

Is your car fuel injected or carb.?

its an injection ignition system, yes i did change the plug's
