hii all of you , hope you are fine and doing great.
i have a friend of mine who have fiat bravo 1.4 t-jet 2011 with central key but sadly without alarm, so he askes if is it possible to setup alarm for his fiat bravo knwoing that he went to the service center here and they told him that it's not possible and he might lose his warranty due to that.
so if the alarm is by fiat that would be so great.
thank you guys in advance

Hi, how can you tell if alarm is installed as mine doesn't bleep or anything but light still flashes in the dash

Just got car about 3 weeks ago, don't know where ultrasonics are. The light is next to radio where it shows doors are locked :)

Mmm ok, will need to try and break into my car to check if its got an alarm lol

That is the immobiliser for the vehicle, not an alarm I believe

I'm still confused about the light we're on about. I don't think I've a flashing one when it's locked (my Stilo did, but bravo doesn't). Are we on about the same LED that comes on when drive lock is activated and the doors are locked when you're in the car

That's not true, mines flashes when i lock the door with the remote or by key, it doesn't flash however when i have ignition on and car locks operate when i drive off or i press that button to activate said operation.

I'm even more lost now. Pic anyone

So which light

The light i am talking about is on the right hand she of your stereo and has what looks like a key on it, 2nd button down.
Well that's the light i have been talking about, still can't find any ultrasonic sensors but then again, don't need them for an alarm

Fiat dealer should be able to fit one of their recognised Meta alarm systems. I'll have a look to see if I can find the part number on mine. Do not just fit any random alarm though as it needs to be a canbus enabled system. (y)

thank you so much dude,
2 be more precis i'm asking if is it possible to setup alarm in fiat bravo t-jet 2011 and the car originally have remote key but not alarm, so my friend ask about it and if yes could you plz send me the part number, the funny thing is that i'm an automotive engineer and working in fiat but sadly my company have major problem with italy " money problem" so they blocked the link between us for now,
sorry for the elongation,
thank you in advance.

The ultrasonic sensors fit between the top of the windshield plastic trim (A pillar) and the roof lining cloth...

there is also a LED which is in a plastic disc about the size of a large Coin

the main unit goes near the Body computer / inside fuse box and wires into the loom at the plugs

the alarm siren mounts under the windscreen outside under plastic trim from memory and wires into the engine fuse box using the CAN *(computer network for the car)

You MUST FIT A BRAVO alarm and not try and fit one from say a Punto... as it could cause serious damage to the computer in the car...
