General Brava OR Bravo

Currently reading:
General Brava OR Bravo

neither is 'better'. it depends on what you want.

both are so similar it really is a case of "do you want/need 3 or 5 doors?"

the only ways to divide them are:
1. bravo has higher torsional rigidity and less weight giving more agile handling
2. brava has more space in boot and rear doors making it more practicle

Depends, do you have family to think about? (Brava) Or do you want to slam it to the floor and just think about you and your girflriend :p? (Bravo)

Silly engined yourself

Marea Weekend is a true family car but you don't need one, if youre asking about B or B

Never said it had to be the weekend :p

After some tests there is actually more leg room in the back of a Brava than a Marea. Seems strange, and must be down to bigger seats.

Marea weekends don't have to be family cars. We have a Marea and a Bravo and move the family around just as much in the Bravo as the Marea :D

i looked at both when i was buying mine

and i would say it depends on which one ya like to drive. its about what you feel comfortable in, in the end.

Thanks for you're thoughts guys, but as I asked this is just purley out of curiosity.
Has anyone considered weather the Brava or Bravo has the better engine for reliability etc.
Or do you think one has a better build quality.
We have established the Brava has more room and more doors but the Bravo seems more favourable for being sporty.

Have you read up on the Bravo/Brava?

Do you know they're practically the same car fron the front until the B pillar?

They share engines with the only exception being the 2.0 HGT Bravo which isn't available in the Brava (although someone somewhere may be making one as it's just a case of swapping bits over).

The Brava. Mainly because I have one for sale :)

It depends though if you need the rear doors or not. I think overall the Bravo shape is better resolved. The rear lights of the Brava looked rubbish back in 1996. Now they look just right. Weird how some details were a few years ahead of their time

ive always owned 5 door cars...although ive always wanted a 3dr :p

bravas can be cheaper...my 2001 brava sx was £2000 with 30,000 on clock, 12 months warranty and totally immacculate from a main FIAT dealer.

they had a 1990 bravo hlx there with 40,000 on the clock, same warranty and also immacculate....£4000 :O haha
