Thought I was doing O K no problems for over a month. Then doing 60 up towards lights (I was some distance away) I started to brake and found they were not working. I pumped the pedal like hell and did stop in time thank god. My garage man (not Fiat) found that the steel brake pipe yes steel! had rusted near rear wheel arch because there is a plastic protector which was full of dirt. In fact the protector caused the problem holding wet dirt rather than help.
I got it replaced in copper.
