Technical Brake Sensor Cable

I am guessing but is it the brake pad wear warning cable? If so that is under the wheel arch connecting into the loom harness under the bonnet. Hope u know from where it was removed? Not too many Tipo's about now I guess buddy... cud be wrong tho lol!!

Thats the cable I mean :)

Do you happen to know what colour the wire is that connects to the sensor? I have one Random Orange wire in the bay that is not in a Harness and nobody has a clue on what it was for.

I'm not sure how to test it. Don't think their is a voltage coming off it.

would I just earth it and check the dash for a light?

If its the brake wire then when you earth it the brake light should come on oon the dash, but if its a random power wire you could do some damage that you dont want top do.

Don't blow the one.six up!

Get a multimeter on it. See if it has a voltage. No idea what colour the Sedici's brake wear indicator wire is.. You sure the one.six has that function? As for loose wires in the engine bay... that's just a tipo thing :)

I see :) I can't find a Grey+Yellow wire in the engine bay :( I know there was one because when I first had to remove a wheel the sensor cable was there but it was damaged and a Garage told me they removed it for me as they all cut and he thought it the best option but I want it back!

I'll keep looking but might have to wire a new one from scratch... longness :bang:
