During some warranty work on my father's 2009 Qubo, with 17k miles, the Service Manager phoned to say it needed new front brake pads.
I got them changed, but when I challenged him later, he said there were known issues with them wearing at low miles.
Anyone else had problems?

Mentioned front pads to my dealer a while ago, his reply was Qubo/Fiorino pads have a super long life, expect 40-50K +. Though I agree with 'it does depend on how you drive',
mine have done 22K+ and are only about 35% worn.

Cheers Qube O.

Likewise - mine have done 21000+ mainly around town/short journeys and I would say about 50% worn. Discs have a bit of a lip on them so we'll see what first MOT brings end Jan 14.
(I would add a smilie but still can't and no, they're not disabled in options!)

Well thanks for the smilie Luigi but I can now add my own  :) ;) :D  :bang:  because I had an  and went to:

User CP, Settings & Options, Edit options, Miscellaneous, Message Editor Interface, which I changed from Enhanced to Standard and saved the change. (y)

The only thing I did previously was to change my free security package from Virgin (as they're stopping it) to F-Secure which they recommend (and you pay for it after a year) (n)

I've also had probs opening documents when not connected to 'tinternet  but hopefully they'll sort it soon.

I love happy endings! :yum:

Microsoft offer free anti virus software; just search for "microsoft security essentials" I've just put it on a netbook that I got cheap! Seems okay so far.
