I have replaced the disc's, drum's, shoe's and pad's. Bleed the system on my Bravo 1.4SX 1997, still it juddered. Swapped the off side rear wheel with the off side front and hey presto, judder as completely disappeared, the car now brakes nice and smooth. All the tyres were replaced a few months ago (Uniroyal 680's), around the time the judder started. Maybe the wheels were not put back onto the side that they came off. Who knows???? All i care about is the fact that it now stops nice and smooth. If anyone has brake judder this might solve your problem aswell.

inconsistant balanced wheels?

Maybe you had one front one wheel which was unbalanced and one rear one. now you may have two unbalanced on the front or rear!!!

only costs £3 to get wheels balanced per wheel

Like i said, 4 new tyres. New valves and all balanced with tracking checked and adjusted. Still might be worth getting the balancing rechecked. This judder has been bothering me for months!
