bought a new double din stereo and no power is getting to it

im i bought a double din jvc stereo to replace my single din sony. i took everything out and tried connecting it all up. turned on my ignition and poof nothing happened. im wundering if someone coould help me

I had same trouble in fiat 500 have you got adaptor for it and if yes you need to wire to lighter in car for permanent live.
