Hi all, having a mare trying to get the bonnet open on my Punto as the battery needs replacing.
The lever mechanism has basically disintegrated (several bits of broken plastic!) and I can't reach the cable from under the car because of the skid tray under the front bumper. I've tried pulling the cable from inside the car as I took the panel off inside the footwell but with no joy. Is there a certain way to pull the cable the from inside that will release it?
