Has anyone fitted the abarth front bumper and side skirts themsleves, are they easy to fit. I'll get them sprayed at a local bodyshop. If anyone has the fitting instructions they can email to me it would be great. Im also thinking of two other car mods. The DTM rear spoiler from the Tuningshop how does it fit to the car throught two of the original holes on my HLX or by some other method. The last question. Im thinking of getting Mille Miglia Spiders 7x17 with 215/40 zr17 or 205/40 tyres. Any wheel arch mods required or speedo changes needed or are the tyre combos the same as the orignal wheel diameter 185/55x15. Your help will would be great, as I dont wont to waste my money.

Mille Spiders

Malcolm, have had 17 205/40 fitted to my HLX for 2 years now and no problem whatsoever. Makes the car crash a bit over pot holes mind. I have the body kit but did not fit is. Most of the kit is screwed on, that is the front bumper, that bit is easy, however the side skirts are screwed and glued, the glue or epoxy is used to seal the kit against the body and this needs a steady hand otherwise it will look pants. I am sure that the place where you have it sprayed will do it for you and it won't cost much more than the paint job.
good luck

Wheels

Not to sure about the body kit bits but as for the wheels stick with 205/40/17, the spedo won't be out by much (1-4mph) but would be out even more if you fitted the 215's. No arch mods will be needed to fit the 17's no matter what tyre you end up going for.

Thanks

Thanks for your input. Still waiting to here some info about how to attach the DTM spoiler. I had reports that new holes have to be drilled into the window not sure though. looks as if the middle hole line up in the pictures I've seem. But these things are set to try us.

Once again thanks for both of your input.
