I'm wondering if anyone can help I'm trying to find out if I have blue and me fitted or not, as I'm fed up of not having an aux input to plug in my iPod. Thanks in advance
Thank you, is there a way I can play my iPod through the blue and me system at all ? Or can I do away with blue and me and use this cable ? Thanks again

Next to your cigarette lighter under the heater control unit is there a USB port behind a little Microsoft windows logo? If not then you can buy that and plug it into the back of the radio no problem. If you do have that USB port you can buy an iPod adapter that allows you to connect the iPod to the blue and me system where you can play all your music through the steering wheel controls.

Looks like I have the blue and me then is there no way I can disconnect the blue and me so I can fit that aux cable as I don't use the blue and me anyway. Glad to see you managed to borrow some wheels btw

Oh yeh I believe it's the same port that the aux cable plugs in, that's why you can't have both, only one or the other. I have no more experience than this so can't help much more. No doubt someone else will be able to guide you from here.
My 80gig iPod Classic connects with its USB lead directly in to the USB (without adapter) and works fine. It does take a few mins to build the media library though.
It will only play MP3's though so make sure your collection is in that format and just give it a go and see before you go ripping the Blue and Me out.
