I've had her just since November last year. She is in first class condition and unmodified. Spent a bit of time and a little money on her, servicing, timing belt, rear bearings and improving a few bits and pieces which needed a little TLC. She is now running extremely well and is kept garaged (dry). Only going to use her on sunny days as she is a spare car bought just for that purpose. She is a little pampered to say the least!!

"Riviera" Spec, standard 130bhp, 1747cc engine, but red interior and sub woofer behind seats as standard, totally unmodified mechanically but stainless steel exhaust and 17" Mondo Alloys.

Resurrection of posts as these are the pics i found while doing a google search on the Barchetta and what found me the forum.

This is exactlly the Barchetta that i would love to have, but with the optiona hardtop also.

Hi, I have the same beautiful car, but I also have an engine problem. When I release accelerator pedal, the engine turns off. In the workshop they told me "MAF sensor", but I doubt that this car has such thing, because I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas? (barchetta 2003)

sure it has. on a 2003 model is it found next to the butterfly valve.

But that won't pe the problem. Please look into the ICV (idle control valve). It's also situated on the butterfly valve. Take if off, demantle it and give it a good brake cleaner clean. Otherwise you could buy a replacement for it.
