BIT OT! all you engineers? strange one i know

bit of a strange one i know, for my major project at uni im designing something that uses a car aircon pump, does any one know where i can find very detailed info/stats of a standard aircon pump, i need to know current draw etc.. and diagrams/stats of car aircon pipework, also where can i find very detailed exhaust info?

just thought id ask just incase.

yeah, you need to find who makes the pump your using, the model, year made and a serial number if it has one and ask the manufacturer.

You could try the car manufacturer if your stuck but you'd be better at the pump makers.

If all else fails try a motorist discount, they may be able to give you the name of their supplier who will give you the name of someone that makes it etc etc. I wouldn't bank on it being made in this country though.
