Abroad, Vauxhalls are called Opels and for the last few years, the newer cars have inherited there european older brothers names.
E.g the Nova is called a Corsa in Europe
the Cavalier is called a Vectra in Europe
There are some more but these are the most common, Vauxhall will soon disappear and the cars will then become known as Opel.
