Hi,

I've had this little Italian nugget for over 6 years now. It's currently on 195'000 miles, not bad for a 1.2.
However, the lack of power has been a consistent issue since I got it.
To rectify this, I'm installing an Abarth 155 engine at somepoint in the next 12 months, with help from an experienced specialist/breaker.
I have most of the parts as below:

199a8000 engine with all ancillaries and flywheel
Intake and exhaust
C510 box
ECU, BCM and Main engine wiring loom, ignition barrel and keys
Driveshafts
Radpack and intercooler
Clutch kit
Cambelt and service parts

Bit of a frankenstein build, but I'm stuck on a few odd parts though. Main one that is bugging me is the wiring loom from the ECU to the BCM, which needs to not only be from a grande punto tjet but specifically one with the old BCM (square shaped black key). Does anyone know the part number for the loom? I'm grasping at straws trying to find this wiring loom without the part number!

Thanks :)
Damian

Hello,

On the bottom of the forum banner you've got the link to ePER, it's a FIAT spare parts catalogue. Search window is top left of the screen. Find the appropriate model on the list, then browse to the correct category. You'll get a list of part numbers and descriptions - most probably there will be more than one, depending on the car options.

The best would be to have the VIN of the donnor, which would make it easier.

Abarths are generally listed as a different manufacturer.

Thanks dude!

Unfortunately VIN of the donor won't be an easy task, 'frankenstein build' as I put unfortunately I meant literally. The engine is from a Mito, gearbox and driveshafts from a standard grande punto tjet, as are all the ECU kit parts I do have.

I'm going to have a good rummage through the ePER lists though, it might just have what I need. Failing that, I'm trying to get a few tjet/abarth owners to help me by having a look at their own vehicles to see if they can fetch a wiring loom part number for me.

I will prevail somehow, thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to the swap, it's going to be a lot of fun and learning for me.
