Hello all,
I guess I'm one of the old boys here at 39! but am returning to Fiat ownership after having a 131 Mirafiori 20 odd years ago. I'll be buying a Cinq shortly as a fun car for my wife and I to use when our people carrier is not required.
A colleague of mine has just got a bright yellow new 500 and that is such a great car, I was inspired to go back to Fiat.

You was inspired to go back to Fiat and here you is :wave:Welcome to the ff

is it the Cinq Sporting? and yer the 500 is indeed a top car(y)

Hello FIRE,
Yes, it's a Sporting, couldn't see the point of anything less. I figured there would be more tweaking options with the Fire engine. Plus, it's bright yellow - I don't do dull!

I expect to de-badge it, light tint to the windows, then possibly in the future, change the alloys to painted steels with dog dish caps. It has to stay reasonably 'normal' as my wife will drive it too!

No pics yet, I haven't bought it! It's sat at a local repair centre that I pass each day on my cycle to work. I stopped by there earlier this evening to check that it was OK to look it over tomorrow, and found that he's going to be doing the head gasket in the morning. That's good, he said it had a misfire and as I'd already looked for clues here, I figured a head gasket could be the answer! The car has been hooked up to a PC diagnostic thingy which highlighted the problem too.
