General Back on the road again ...

I've just taxed my B, and she's street-legal again for the next 6 months. Whoopee!!

Been itching to get her back on the road, but I've been waiting for the weather to improve (I live down a long, unmade farm track which gets horribly muddy in the winter months, so she only comes out of the barn when the track is bone dry - which isn't very often, this time of year!).

Can't wait to hear the exhaust echoing off the hedgerows. Coming to a quiet backwater in deepest Suffolk, sometime later this afternoon ...

Somebody wipe that smile off my face....

Popped out to buy some milk at 4.30, and somehow what should have been a quick 10-minute blast to my nearest town (Bungay, for those who know this neck of the woods) turned into a 2.5-hour scenic tour of east Suffolk, taking in some of the very best roads in these parts, and an unplanned trip to the seaside (Southwold) along the way!

Everything seems to be working AOK (apart from the bits that I already knew needed attention) and once again I'm marvelling at how so much fun can be had so little dosh. The best £3k I ever spent, without a doubt!
