Technical AUX input 2006

Hi there, have recently bought a Fiat Grande Punto, 2006 1.2 8v Active.
It has the standard Fiat Punto radio which has the "AUX" source selection, i have been wondering whether anybody with this model in this year have managed to rig up the AUX input, there's a wire you can buy but it seems to be only available for models -2007 onwards :bang:

Any help would be apprectiated.

Hi Mate same boat as you, i have a 56 plate, by pressing the cd button twice it comes up with aux, i have bought the lead and it should be here in the next few days ill let you know if it works, im guessing it will as it has the aux function, but just incase wait a few days and ill let you know for certain

I done this with mine, its easy , all you do is remove the stereo and insert the wire into the back of it, feed it down the whole, bobs your uncle!

You're both right, there is a lead you can get that plugs into the back of your radio, pretty sure its this one...

This only works on models that dont have blue and me (but blue and me is useless anyway so party on!)

well got my lead today works mint, you can even use the steering wheel controls to move tracks and adjust volume which is a plus the lead i got was

i also got this bit so i can put a 3.5mm male to male lead in and keep it tidy as per the member who added a guide

take the stereo out and it fits in the slot above your existing cables you will see where when you remove the stereo and look at the connection it has a little tab which lines up with a grove on the input
