Aux cable not working

I’ve had a new aux cable (yellow) installed in my fiat punto 2007, but I can’t seem to get it to work?

If I remember right, the headunit is configured to think that it's a CD changer, so I think you have to press CD twice, or press and hold it to get it into the right mode? I'm sure a Search of the Grande Punto section will find you some answers.
