Just an update, Simon & I ventured over this afternoon to change the Oil & Filter on the GP.
Dead impressed with the setup, the friendly welcome from Darren the owner (Even with regular offers of cups of tea)!!
Worth remembering to take a container to remove your waste oil in along with something sealable to take away the filter and any dirty rags. Obviously some may think this is a chore but having to have specialist trade waste collected is going to cost and then that means higher prices. The tip is just round the corner so this shouldn't worry anyone!
Two hours on the ramp and we had the oil changed, and the bloody undertray back on and secure.
Theres a two post lift with arms (I dont know the technical term) and a 4 post lift with a run on ramp which was a tight fit for my lowered GP but we got it on.
Anything lower then would definitley need the 2 post but both are there which is great.
Two furhter spaces can used to work on cars on the floor and in the dry which I may well use for induction and alarm.
Darren's also a ring veteran with his MG

so after we return from our trip I'm sure there will be lots to talk about
All in all I can't fault anything! And hopefully a few of us will be over next week for more fun

.
PS there's also club prices now on the Autopia site for hiring the full workshop
