Audio Wiring help needed (Diagram included)

Ok guys, had a free night tonight so i decided to wire in my PS2 and my power cap, i got all the wires in fine and the PS2 was up and running, but when i connected the power cap up it read 12.75 and had a continuous beeeeping noise when it was connected so i left it for about 10-15 seconds thinking it was just starting up, but it got louder so i decided to disconnect it any ideas?, i have included a diagram of how everything is set up, please help, also the power converter sometimes works, the fault comes on for a second when you first turn it on but i think this is normal, but sometimes the converter turns on and sometimes it doesnt, the ground wires are connected to the two big metal screws in the boot that have the strapping hooks attatched to them

thats how my system is wired up so i dont know why you are having problems? (although all my cables are bigger)

engine running at the time?
might be a low power warning,

try it with the engine running and see what u get.

have you tried taking the fuses out so that only the subs or ps2 are running. If you do this to make sure that each side works on its own first then try them together to check that they are not interfearing with each other.
