Hello everyone, hope you are all well. I have a 2004 Punto 1.4 16V Eleganza and the audio controls on the steering wheel don't work. I've done a bit of research and established that the switch frame isn't available as separate part, you have to buy the entire steering wheel, if of course the switches are at fault, which isn't my belief. The coloured (B/G/Y) block connectors are wired and plugged in to the back of the radio/CD player and the audio switches on the steering wheel light up when the ignition switch is activated, so they have power, but are otherwise inoperative. Is this a common fault? what is the likely cause? and how is it wired, from the switches to the player? I would very much appreciate any responses.
