Hi all,
just need to share with you that i have finally took the jump and bought a Coupe 20v.I`ve been sitting on the fence for a while now.. (HGT,GT, Alfa etc) but decided that after 3 years of more than happy motoring in my Sei Abarth and turning the big 4-0 las t december that i deserved a treat.Finally found one on ebay in my price range (wife is a student midwife so funds are thinner than Kate Moss on a desert island), the guy was interested in a px so we agreed £300 plus mine for the Coop. I`m happy and i think he was aswell. Coop has had cambelt, clutch,water pump,clutch slave cylinder etc etc etc. I know what you are going to say about this next bit but he had no receipts for the work done, but you could tell visually that they had and spoke meticulously about how his Fiat / Alfa mechanic friend had done all the work. He was an up & coming Fiat enthusiast and also had a Stilo Abarth which he loved...anyway..just to say hello and i hope not to be posting ANY threads asking for advice..but after having Fiats for the last 15-20 yrs i think that is being optimistic for this type of car.I cant get my head around the gorgeous sound it makes,my Marea 155 didnt sound anything like..but same engine ??!!
