no i'm not been sarcastic.
over the past 3 weeks my GP's been causing me some grief, and its only 15 months old.
So i'm out last weekend, about 15 miles from home. parked up on the side road on the phone, when i realise the gearbox is all floppy. but appears to be in neutral so i lifts my foot off the clutch. But it finds a bite. so puts clutch back down my gearstick into 1st and 2nd but it immedietly slips back into "neutral" rings recovery up and they robbed me. Fiat were bang on for getting me information back about what was the cause and how long it would be off road. A week. Gets to about 9.30 on the tuesday and fiat ring me and like all fixed. Some cable had snapped in the gearbox.
then saturday it went back in because its been making this metal grinding metal noise when accelerating in first from standing. to be honest it sounded like the car was guna snap in half. So before work this morning i called into fiat the lads like take your car now with you and come back after 4pm we'll do a road test and he knew what it was straight away took the car for all of 10 minutes and fixed the noise. It was some bar across the back axle near the exhaust or something.
I can say i'm pretty impressed with how they dealt with me both times it was like even though they were very busy both times, they couldnt do enough to make sure my car was ok.
i know you hear people comment on fiats but my last car the garage didnt give two hoots. but then it was vauxhall.
