hi
i purchased a pair of standard h1 bulbs nd noticed them to be very dim??
very low , dull and a yellowish output?

why is this?

im aware of marea poly headlights but dont intend to change them aroudn as it is hassle and righly so bravo was designed with this headlight not to buy another pair of lamps lol

now my question,...
im aware that philips and osram are avaible for a more 'whiter' light effect

but then a blue tint is also avaiable
is the blue legal can i fail an mot because of this, despite it being labelled 'safe road use'?

would i get the same bright output if i chose blue tint and whiter light philips/osram?

please advise...

I use the 50% brighter phillips bulbs and they are a vast improvement over the standard ones.

Not sure of the legalities of the blue/white ones, if they don't say "not for road use" they should be ok.

The only answer is to get a set of polys fitted. I looked at changing the bulbs but the beam pattern is still poor. after fitting polys the difference is huge.
I understand where you're coming from saying that fiat installed them etc but if you dont want to change the light units then carry on with poor night lighting, simple as.

polyeliptic headlights which come off a fiat marea

has miles better light output compared to a bravo

hope that helps

marea elx or hlx only. not the standard marea, it has the dim lights too.

get some philips or osram +50% or silverstar bulbs, thats a good start for about £15
